Jahrhunderts \u2013 bis hin zur Lyrik der neuen, kraftvollen Stimme einer jungen sizilianischen Lyrikerin etwa hundert Jahre sp\u00e4ter und zu einem Gedicht der spanischen Performerin, S\u00e4ngerin und Dichterin Lorena Izquierdo. Die Musikerinnen weben einen Teppich aus Stimmen und Instrumentalkl\u00e4ngen sowie den Kl\u00e4ngen von Gegenst\u00e4nden. Inspiriert von den Worten Virginia Woolfs: \u201e(\u2026) Es gibt nichts Feststehendes, nichts Best\u00e4ndiges in diesem Universum, alles wogt, alles tanzt (\u2026),\u201c schaffen Kammerer, Lane und Walker lebendige, durchl\u00e4ssige und transparente musikalische Strukturen, die den Worten Raum geben und sie sowie die Zuh\u00f6rer auf ihre eigene Reise schicken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Margareth Kammerer<\/strong> is a singer and composer and works solo and in various ensembles and projects. Her works include her own compositions, music for theatre, film and radio plays. In her solo works she often works with texts of modern and contemporary literature, such as E.E Cummings, Anne Carson, Paul Celan, Antonin Artaud , Tchicaya U Tam&#8217;si, Virginia Woolf and lately also collaborating with the sicilian poet Clio Nicastro and with the lyrics of performer and poet Lorena Izquierdo. Her solo work is documented by 3 CDs: \u201cTo be an animal of real flesh\u201d (Charhizma, 2004, Austria), \u201cWhy is the sea so blue\u201d (Mikroton, 2013, Russia), \u201cThe Garden\u201d (Ftarry, 2025, Japan). In addition to her solo activity, her band &#8222;The Magic I.D.&#8220;, which has been in existence since 2005 (with Michael Thieke, Kai Fagaschinski, Christof Kurzmann) &#8211; their compositions oscillate between sound research, electronics and songwriting &#8211; recorded 2 albums : &#8222;&#8218;Till my breath gives out&#8216; was released by the American label &#8222;Erstwhile Records&#8220; and their second album &#8222;I&#8217;m so awake\/sleepless I feel&#8220; by the label &#8222;Staubgold&#8220;. In february 2026 they recorded a new album. New band projects include a trio with Rebecca Lane and Deborah Walker and a trio with Emanuele Porcinai and Deborah Walker.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rebecca Lane<\/strong> is a musician who explores intonation as a social and perceptual practice, focusing on just\/rational intonation and the relational aspects of sounding\/activating this material with others. Her practice is informed by ongoing relationships with composers (such as Catherine Lamb), collaborations (like\u00a0<em>distances bending<\/em>\u00a0with Clara de As\u00eds) and within various duos and ensembles (including\u00a0<em>Harmonic Space Orchestra<\/em>), utilizing various flutes (in particular, Kingma System quarter-tone flutes). As an interpretor she has also worked closely with composers such as Ernstalbrecht Stiebler, Anthony Pateras, Eva-Maria Houben, Marc Sabat, Ellen Arkbro, Antoine Beuger, Laura Steenberge, Sarah Davachi and Tashi Wada. In late 2019 she co-initiated the Harmonic Space Orchestra, a research-performance collective exploring just\/rational tuning practices along with Catherine Lamb and Marc Sabat. She has performed as a guest in ensembles such as Ensemble Mosaik (DE), Ensemble Modelo62 (NL) and ICE \u2013 International Contemporary Ensemble (USA). Previous projects include a co-conceived concert installation version of Salvatore Sciarrino\u2019s\u00a0<em>La perfezione di uno spirito sottile<\/em> (1985) which was premiered at the Berlin Staatsoper in 2018, co-curation of the Vibrant Matter sound series with Heather Frasch from 2017-21 and co-curation for Sacred Realism at Studio 8 (Berlin) in 2016-17.\u00a0Recent recording projects include the co-composed quartet\u00a0<em>distances dending<\/em>\u00a0with Clara de As\u00eds (Discreet Editions) and a simultaneous realisation of Jakob Ullmann&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Solo I<\/em>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<em>Solo IV<\/em>\u00a0with Jon Heilbron (Another Timbre). After completing studies in Visual Communication (RMIT) and Music Performance at Melbourne University (VCA), Rebecca attended masterclasses across Europe with teachers such as Carin Levine, Eva Furrer and Pirmin Grehl, before settling in Berlin, where she currently resides.<\/p>\n<p>Italian cellist <strong>Deborah Walker<\/strong> is a new music performer and improviser based in Berlin. She is interested in multiple forms of music creation related to the exploration of sound and interaction with other art forms. She has played at many festivals such as I Suoni delle Dolomiti, Italia Wave, ZKM in Karlsruhe, Centre Pompidou, Festival d\u02bcAvignon, Festival Nomad in M\u02bcHamid (Morocco), Switch ON (Malaysia) and tours regularly in International venues and Festivals. She is a member of ensemble <em>Dedalus<\/em> and of the improviser orchestra ONCEIM. She has worked with composers like Pascale Criton, \u00c9liane Radigue, Philip Corner and Phill Niblock, both in solo or in ensemble. Since more than a decade Deborah plays regularly with violinist Silvia Tarozzi. Their repertoire includes both contemporary and experimental works, as well as transcriptions of Italian traditional folksongs from their birthplace, the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy. Aus dem Baukasten unserer sprachlichen Produkte bastelt sie scheinbare Weltverweise, die nicht selten Welt erzeugen. Im Zentrum ihrer k\u00fcnstlerischen Arbeit steht ein interdisziplin\u00e4rer Ansatz. Ihre Musik vereint die Erschaffung einer Welt, die \u00fcber den reinen Klang hinausgeht. Sie verbindet Bewegung, Licht, Videoprojektionen auf ungew\u00f6hnlichen Oberfl\u00e4chen sowie die Manipulation allt\u00e4glicher Ger\u00e4te, die dadurch zu<br \/>\nInstrumenten werden, und Objekte, die ihren eigenen Raum schaffen. Daraus entstehen neue, unerforschte akustische Situationen von intensiver Komplexit\u00e4t \u2013 ein Territorium an den Schnittstellen verschiedener Genres. Ihre Musik wird auf Festivals wie Ultima (Oslo), Wien Modern (Wien), Path Festival (Verona), MATA (New York) und anderen aufgef\u00fchrt.<br \/>\nSie arbeitet mit Ensembles wie airborne extended, Lumniscate, Nadar, Zwerm sowie mit Musiker:innen wie Katelyn Rose King, Alexander Chernyshkov, Alessandro Baticci, Jennifer Torrence, Tomomi Adachi.
