<\/p>\n Yii<\/strong><\/p>\n Laura Z\u00f6schg: <\/strong>Stimme Yii<\/em> consists of two individuals that meet each other in a world of strange, surreal dreams, where narratives take unexpected turns and somehow familiar faces remain unknown. Wandering through these outlandish realms, they find their bearings with nothing but each other to relate to, while their set course remains anything but set; it becomes a winding journey through spheres of acoustic phenomena of voice and saxophone, a path of uncertain outcomes bound by their mutuality and curiosity. Their debut album \u201cThe trails of levitating creatures\u201d was released on November 27th, 2025, on the CRRNT Collective label. In April 2026, the duo will play its album release tour with concerts at venues including in \u201cGalerija \u0160kuc\u201d in Ljubljana (SI), in \u201cKulturkotter\u201d in Graz (AT), and in \u201cEchoraum\u201d in Vienna (AT).<\/p>\n https:\/\/www.laurazoeschg.com\/yii<\/a> Laura Z\u00f6schg<\/strong> is a musician and composer working in the field of improvised and experimental music. Her means of expression are the different colors and sounds of her voice, and for certain projects she also experiments on the piano, organ, and flute. She received singing, piano, and flute lessons from an early age before beginning her jazz vocal studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts (KUG) in Graz in 2016. Thereafter she moved to Aarhus, Denmark, for her master’s degree, which she completed in 2022. Since then, Laura has been performing concerts throughout Europe with various bands and projects, such as Yii, Blaume, mimicri, Undercurrent, and her solo project LOA. Her most recent releases include Yii’s \u201cThe trails of levitating creatures\u201d, Blaume’s debut EP \u201cexcess air\u201d, an improvised solo EP on the church organ entitled \u201csem\u201d, and a feature on the album \u201cI Can Feel My Dreams\u201d by multi-instrumentalist and composer Damian Dalla Torre (IT\/DE). Raised in Schabs in South Tyrol, Laura has been living and working in Copenhagen, Denmark, since 2022.<\/p>\n Luka Zabric<\/strong>, born in 1997 in Ljubljana (SI), is a saxophonist, improviser and composer, since 2020 based in Copenhagen (DK). He made initial contact with improvisation in music at the Edgar Willems Music Centre (GCEW, institute), where he first completed elementary education of the recorder flute and music theory (solfeggio) and was introduced to jazz when picking up the alto saxophone aged 12 there. His subsequent musical education led him through the jazz institute of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG) [2016-20], and the Rhythmic Music Conservatory (RMC) in Copenhagen [2020-22], during which he became increasingly drawn to liminal sonorities and the wide spectrum of acoustic phenomena of his instrument. Encounters and collaborations with peers, faculty and other inspiring artists within and outside the institutional frameworks have paved the trajectory of his sound explorations through extended techniques, instrument preparations and multi-mic\u2019ing setups. His discography as a bandleader includes the releases Cradled Cravings<\/em> (The Gatherers, September 1st 2023, CRRNT), Nebo\u017eder <\/em>(solo EP, December 1st 2023, CRRNT), Live in Osijek <\/em>(The Gatherers, December 20th 2024, Soundbrick Studio), Unspoken Remains <\/em>(Mass of Debris, July 12th 2025, CRRNT), and Trails of Levitating Creatures <\/em>in collaboration with the vocalist Laura Z\u00f6schg (Yii, November 27th 2025, CRRNT).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Toma\u017e Grom<\/strong> solo: Kontrabass, Elektronik, Dada, Video<\/p>\n Toma\u017e Grom<\/strong> (Ljubljana, 1972) is a double bassist, composer, and sound researcher. He understands music primarily as a medium of communication, not as an aesthetic pleasure. For him, music is a process of searching: a series of unresolved questions, a flow of ideas, and an engagement with uncertain situations. Composition, in his practice, happens through improvisation. Improvisation opens a space for mistakes, for getting lost and finding one\u2019s way again\u2014for deviation that leads to unexpected and intriguing solutions. Difficulties are not obstacles but triggers for reflection and for opening new paths. He is the founder and artistic director of the institute Sploh (Sound \/ Performing \/ Listening \/ Observing \/ Hearing), which operates in the fields of music and performing arts production, education, and publishing. He has performed at numerous festivals across Europe and North America and has composed original music for theatre, dance, puppet productions, and films. Based on his concept, the feature-length documentary Balkan Whispers<\/em> (dir. Boris Petkovi\u010d) was created. Wir sind mit den runden Scheiben in den 80ern gro\u00df geworden. In jedem Wohn- und Jugendzimmer gab es einen CD-Turm. Waren sie damals der Inbegriff des Neuen und Zeitgem\u00e4\u00dfen, ist es erstaunlich, wie \u00fcberholt und gestrig sie uns heute erscheinen. Die Silberscheibe materialisiert den Moment des \u00dcbergangs von analoger zu digitaler Welt. Digitale Daten wurden durch sie erstmals mit einem physischen Gegenstand verbunden. Die CD ist ein Symbol f\u00fcr den Beginn der Digitalisierung. Im Angesicht der Musik-Streamingdienste hat sie ihre Funktion und Bedeutung verloren. Zeit f\u00fcr eine Hommage an die Compact Disc!<\/p>\n Stefan Hurtig<\/strong> (*1981 in Zwickau) studierte Medienkunst in Leipzig und Krakau und schloss 2011 als Meistersch\u00fcler von Alba D\u2018Urbano ab. 2018 erhielt er den Preis der Leipziger Jahresausstellung. 2019 zeigte das Museum der bildenden K\u00fcnste Leipzig die dazugeh\u00f6rige Preistr\u00e4gerausstellung. 2022 pr\u00e4sentierte das HALLE 14 \u2013 Zentrum f\u00fcr zeitgen\u00f6ssische Kunst Leipzig eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere R\u00fcckschau seiner Kunst. Er lebt und arbeitet in Leipzig. www.stefanhurtig.de<\/a><\/p>\n Christoph Ro\u00dfner<\/strong> (*1982) studierte Freie Kunst und Malerei in Weimar und Dresden und war Meistersch\u00fcler von Ralf Kerbach. Seine Arbeiten sind in der Sammlung f\u00fcr zeitgen\u00f6ssische Kunst der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und im Kunstfonds Sachsen vertreten. Seit 10 Jahren arbeitet er mit der Romer Young Gallery in San Francisco und der dst.galerie in M\u00fcnster zusammen. Nach Reisen durch Zentralasien und den nahen Osten studierte sie Malerei, Grafik und Buchkunst an der Hochschule f\u00fcr Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. Im Anschluss an ihr Diplom setzte sie ihre Studien als Meistersch\u00fclerin fort. Seither lebt und arbeitet Hadin Schorn als freischaffende K\u00fcnstlerin in Leipzig. Seit 2019 setzt sie sich intensiv mit Hinterglasmalerei auseinander und entwickelt neue Techniken und Ausdrucksformen mit Glas als Tr\u00e4germaterial. www.instagram.com\/hadinschorn<\/a><\/p>\n Robert Vanis<\/strong> (*1982) wurde im Erzgebirge geboren und studierte Bildende Kunst in Dresden und Leeds. Sein Meistersch\u00fclerstudium bei Lutz Dammbeck schloss er 2014 ab. Von 2016 bis 2025 leitete er das Fotolabor an der Hochschule f\u00fcr Bildende K\u00fcnste Dresden. Seit 2025 unterrichtet er Fotografie an der Akademie der bildenden K\u00fcnste Wien. Seine Arbeiten werden international ausgestellt und sind in mehreren privaten und \u00f6ffentlichen Sammlungen vertreten.
