Ein Mobilfunkvertrag wird zum Manifest. Ein Hase wird zum Fisch. Ihre Figuren fragen sich: Gibt es noch eine Stelle am K\u00f6rper, die Ausgangspunkt einer neuen Beziehungsform werden k\u00f6nnte \u2013 etwa das Knie? L\u00e4sst sich Meinen meiden. Wie malen-schreiben. Und wie s\u00e4he ein Apparat zur Verteilung von Z\u00e4rtlichkeit aus. Als Sehr noch im Entstehen war, erprobte Daus ihre Figuren performativ \u2013 mit und ohne Mikro, als Live-Tirade oder SMS. Im echoraum kn\u00fcpft sie daran an und liest nach\/gegen Vorschrift.<\/p>\n<p>Cordula Daus (*1974) lebt und arbeitet in Wien und Berlin. Ihre Texte, H\u00f6rst\u00fccke, Performances und Publikationen kreisen um Sprache und K\u00f6rper. In <a href=\"https:\/\/outerwoman.xyz\/\">outerwoman.xyz<\/a> erprobt sie gemeinsam mit anderen K\u00fcnstler*innen neue Formen von Elternschaft und Fortpflanzung. Sie ist Elise-Richter-PEEK-Stipendiatin an der Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr angewandte Kunst Wien. Ihr Roman Sehr erschien 2024 im Ritter Verlag. <a href=\"https:\/\/corduladaus.com\/\">https:\/\/corduladaus.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>english:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cordula Daus<\/strong> zooms in on specific metamorphic moments from her novel Sehr: two people make love. A mobile phone contract turns into a manifesto. A rabbit becomes a fish. Her characters ask: Is there still a place on the body that could serve as the starting point for a new form of relationship \u2013 the knee, for example? Can meaning be avoided? How to paint-write? And what would an apparatus for distributing tenderness look like? When Sehr was still in the making, Daus tested her characters \u2013 with and without a microphone, as a live tirade or as a text message. At echoraum, she returns to these experiments and reads according to\/against the rules.<\/p>\n<p>Cordula Daus (born 1974) lives and works in Vienna and Berlin. Her texts, sound pieces, performances and artist books revolve around language and the body. In\u00a0outerwoman.xyz, she experiments with other artists with new forms of parenthood and reproduction. Cordula holds an Elise-Richter-PEEK scholarship at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
