Phil Minton<\/strong> ist ein S\u00e4nger, des Avantgarde Jazz und der freien Improvisationsmusik, der als Jazztrompeter begann. Als Vokalist gilt er mit \u201eschier unglaublichen und unheimlichen Sounds, f\u00fcr die es weit und breit nichts Vergleichbares gibt\u201c (Bert Noglik)[1] als eine feste Gr\u00f6\u00dfe in der Szene der freien Improvisatoren.\u00a0 Sein Gesangsstil ist voller ekstatischer Momente und fantasievoller Ger\u00e4uschanreicherungen mit \u201eaberwitzigen und kunstvollen R\u00f6chelvokalisen\u201c (Ulrich Ohlshausen)[1]. Daneben tr\u00e4gt er auch gef\u00fchlvolle Balladen vor. 1988 wurde er von der Zeitschrift Jazz Forum als bester m\u00e4nnlicher S\u00e4nger Europas anerkannt. Er ist an zahlreichen Plattenaufnahmen beteiligt. Carl Ludwig H\u00fcbsch<\/strong> komponiert f\u00fcr kleine und grosse Besetzungen Improvisierter oder\u2028Neuer Musik. Rooted in noise abstract music, their vocal collaboration steps aside from any idiomatic reference to dive into an open organic exchange, questioning the place they inhabit beside the sounds and what can be created through voice and gesture.<\/p>\n Jason Kahn’s vocal work is intriguing in that it takes us beyond language and any technical approach to the voice, combined with an implacable rigor in the execution of his sonic gestures. His expression of the most organic aspects of the voice links it to the body and its fleshy mechanics, as he transforms rales and complaints into electroacoustic material and imposes a radically human presence. Antoine L\u00e4ng shares this direct approach to the voice, which engages the whole body in the production of a vocal \u201cnoise\u201d, and declines to the liking of buccal, guttural and labial matter, and the rhythms inherent in breath. This work on the limits of the instrument directs the performances towards an expression of the body by itself, where sound abstraction also takes the place of trance.<\/p>\n Jason Kahn<\/strong> is a musician, artist and writer. As an electronic musician, guitarist, singer, and percussionist, Kahn collaborates with many international musicians within the framework of free improvised music. He has also composed numerous electroacoustic pieces and graphic scores written for specific bands and musicians. His work can be heard on over two hundred solo, collaborative and compilation releases. Kahn’s installations and interventions have been presented in museums, galleries, art spaces and public sites internationally. These works focus on the idea of space: conceptual and physical intersections, its production and dissolution, and our relationship to it as a political, social and environmental medium.<\/p>\n Antoine L\u00e4ng<\/strong> is a vocalist and composer working mainly with the voice, considering the body in motion and the acoustic context. The physical constraints and limits inherent to this instrument shape his work through experimentation, improvisation, idiomatic or non-idiomatic, sometimes with electronics, mouth acoustic devices or jaw harp. \n1975 gr\u00fcndete er mit Julie Tippetts, Maggie Nicols und Brian Ely das Vokalquartett Voice. Ab dem gleichen Jahr erarbeitete er sich ein Soloprogramm[2]. Seit den 1980er Jahren gastierte er in unterschiedlichsten Konstellationen weltweit bei einschl\u00e4gigen Festivals und arbeitete dabei zun\u00e4chst mit Fred Frith, Roger Turner, G\u00fcnter Christmann, Peter Br\u00f6tzmann und Willi Kellers, sp\u00e4ter mit Radu Malfatti und Phil Wachsmann (Raphiphi) John Zorn (Angelica 94) oder Tom Cora (Roof).
\nMinton war 1997 an der europ\u00e4ischen Erstauff\u00fchrung von Carla Bleys Escalator over the Hill als Gesangssolist ma\u00dfgeblich beteiligt. Weiterhin arbeitete er mit zahlreichen Improvisationsk\u00fcnstlern wie Thomas Lehn und Axel D\u00f6rner (die zusammen das Trio TOOT bilden), Derek Bailey, Erhard Hirt, John Butcher oder Bob Ostertag zusammen. Er arbeitete au\u00dferdem in Projekten von Alfred Harth (Vladimir Estragon), Franz Koglmann (O Moon My Pin- Up, 1998), Klaus K\u00f6nig, David Moss, Simon Nabatov, Paul Hubweber, Uli B\u00f6ttcher (Schnack) und Oliver Schwerdt (EUPHORIUM_freakestra Free Electric Supergroup, 2007) und ist in H\u00f6rst\u00fccken von Grace Yoon, Andreas Ammer, FM Einheit und Ulrike Haage zu h\u00f6ren.
