Sie wurde, als das Reisen pandemibedingt schwierig war, live aber r\u00e4umlich getrennt in Wien und Novi Sad aufgenommen und 2020 von kuda.org NOISM herausgebracht. Im Echoraum spielen die beiden nun nicht nur eine CD Pr\u00e4sentation sondern auch erstmals vor Publikum im selben Raum zusammen. Es hat schon seit \u00fcber 20 Jahren Tradition, das Schnitzelvideo im Echoraum zur Urauff\u00fchrung zu bringen und so wird es auch heuer wieder sein. Etwas \u00fcber 44444 Fotos, die im Laufe des Jahres entstanden sind, wurden gemeinsam mit seinen Musik-Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen und Konzertmitschnitten zu einer verdichteten Nachlese und -h\u00f6re des Geschehens aus h\u00f6chst subjektiver Perspektive montiert. https:\/\/dieb13.klingt.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n „play time!“<\/strong> ist die aktualisierte Version einer Audio-\/Videoinstallation, die 2023 f\u00fcr das Klangmoorschopfe Festival im schweizer Appenzell entstanden ist. Es ist eine begehbare, interaktive Installation, in der das Publikum den Ablauf und damit sowohl die Bild- als auch Tonebene, durch seine Position im Raum bestimmt. Stilistisch eng mit den Schnitzelvideos verwandt, fordert sie zum spielerischen Eintauchen in die Vergangenheit auf und schliesst inhaltlich (erweitert um eine Tonspur und einige technische Rafinessen) an die Videoinstallation „Schnitzelwanderung“ an, die wiederum f\u00fcr den Echoraum 2021 konzipiert, programmiert und gebaut wurde. play time! <\/p>\n Kommun<\/strong>, led by guitarist Finn Loxbo, resides in the tension between the experience of circular time; an elongated now, and the expectations contained within our linear perception of time. In the tension between the individual’s own lines and the collective meaning-making. Every sound is equally important; concrete in itself; as much building block as decoration. The piece Ephemeralds takes off with collectively improvised phrases distributed across acoustic steel-string guitar, piano, double bass and percussion, and continues on a cyclic journey. The musicians are wildly active despite the quiet restraint, seeking a unified timbre. The chamber-like piece eschews long tones, instead creating an almost gamelan-like sound world\u2014although rhythmically and melodically it\u2019s not even close. Indeed, it\u2019s remarkable how such disparate instruments are controlled and manipulated in such a way that they wall feel like kin. The musicians inhabit this humid, mysterious sonic location with total commitment, as if navigating a dense forest by sound and touch, and rather than traversing a forward path they occupy themselves exploring every potential nuance within a tightly fixed area. Besides playing solo concerts, and in various acoustic constellations such as Kommun and in duos with Anders Vestergaard, Karin Johansson and Erik Carl\u00e4lv, his past and ongoing collaborations include bands with larger electrified expressions such as Kyosaku, Doglife, Str\u00e4ndernas Svall, and Fire! Orchestra.<\/p>\n Lisa Ull\u00e9n<\/strong> is one of Sweden\u2019s most celebrated pianists and composers. A versatile player with a singular musical vision, Ull\u00e9n has repeatedly proven her ability to imprint her absolute sense for tonal texture on whatever musical context she appears in, whether it is her own solo playing, writing for her own larger ensembles or the vivid contributions she has made to groups such as Anna H\u00f6gberg\u2019s Attack, Vilhelm Bromander Iniativ, Festen and more…<\/p>\n Vilhelm Bromander<\/strong> is a bass player and composer with a great curiosity for sound, texture, intonation and timbre. He draws inspiration from a wide variety of genres such as improvised music, free jazz and electronic music as well as his studies of just intonation and dhrupad. In demand across genres, he brings a unique sensitivity to all of the contexts in which he works.<\/p>\n Ryan Packard<\/strong> is a composer, percussionist and sound artist. A curiosity towards listening environments, physical space, and psychoacoustics drive the work as it seeks to promote a heightened state of consciousness even in the most understated spaces and moments.
