Internationale Solidarit\u00e4t<\/em> is the third album of Martin Brandlmayr & Nicholas Bussmann. Since their first album \u201eKapital Band 1 \u2013 2CD\u201c in 2004 the duo explores the possibilities of improvising music with machines. Investigating parallel existences and mimetic affirmations of machine structures and human patterns. For their third album they revised their experimental settings once again.<\/p>\n

Internationale Solidarit\u00e4t<\/em> is a search between impulse and logic, algorithms and attitudes, false random and real mistakes.<\/p>\n

Martin Brandlmayr<\/strong>\u00a0is a composer & drummer playing with Radian (Thrill Jockey), Polwechsel and Trapist. He has been working with ErikM, Christian Fennesz, Howe Gelb, Klaus Lang, Dieter Kovacic, Billy Roisz, Sachiko M, David Sylvian, John Tilbury, Ken Vandermark, Otomo Yoshihide, Mats Gustafson and many others.
\nHe has released almost 30 albums and toured on all continents.
\nFor his radioplay \u201eVive Les fant\u00f4mes\u201c he received the Karl-Sczuka-Prize for radio art 2018.<\/p>\n

Nicholas Bussmann<\/strong> is a conceptual musician, composer and artist. Originally an improvising cellist, he since has expanded his practice to a wide range of musical genres, from electronic music to processual art. He is interested in sound and music as a playground for social experiments. Using game structures or algorithms he explores matters of community, power and language. Cottbusser Chor, his Berlin based vocal ensemble, Telebossa and Nicholas Desamory with Lucile Desamory are his recent collaborative projects but he has been working with Natascha Sadr Haghighian, Toshimaru Nakamura, Yan Jun, Nicolas Collins a.o. Occasionally he works as composer for film and radio.
\nThe News Trilogy, an ongoing project for singers singing the news in different languages\/dialects has been performed at Shanghai Biennale, Museo Serralves Porto, Hangar Bicocca Milan, M\u00e4rzmusik Berlin and Documenta14. Nicholas Bussmann was born 1970 in Berlin where he now lives and works.<\/p>\n
