They work with the improvisational exploration of acoustic spaces by creating environments where the boundaries of electronic and acoustic instruments become unclear. Together they have released two albums Starbrak(2018) and Alkekung(2019), toured in Scandinavia and Europe and co-composed installation works. Their latest light installation work Athroa was presented at Nordic Music Days Festival, Onassis Cultural Center and Samtida Musik.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zoe Efstathiou<\/strong> is a pianist and electronic musician from Greece living in Sweden, known for her pioneering work on extended piano techniques. She has been characterized by the German newspaper der Freitag as &#8222;a master of the prepared piano,&#8220; referring to her performance at A L&#8217;Arme Festival as &#8222;an improvisational masterpiece.&#8220;<br \/>\n&#8222;Without a doubt a stand-out player who has cultivated a truly personal and inimitable language of prepared piano techniques,&#8220; Tristan McCay on I CARE IF YOU LISTEN<\/p>\n<p><strong>Egil Kalman<\/strong> is a Swedish musician\/composer, primarily playing modular synthesizer and double bass. Neben seinem Solo-Projekt Mapstation verfolgt der D\u00fcsseldorfer Musiker und Produzent\u00a0<strong>Stefan Schneider<\/strong>,\u00a0vormals aktiv in den Bands Kreidler und To Rococo Rot, seit \u00fcber 20 Jahren in zahlreichen Kollaboration mit u.a. mit Hans- Joachim Roedelius, Sofia Jernberg oder der bildenden K\u00fcnstlerin Katharina Grosse freistehende Pfade der experimentellen Musik im Hier und Jetzt.\u00a0Zusammen bilden Schneider und Gartmayer das Projekt <strong>SO SNER<\/strong>, das seine Existenz einem Konzert des Approximation Festivals in D\u00fcsseldorf im Jahr 2015 verdankt. Gartmayers Bassklarinetten-Polyphonien hatten Schneider so beeindruckt, dass er schnell eine Zusam- menarbeit anregte. Im gleichen Jahr wurden die Aufnahmen fur das Album Reime in Kraftwerks ehemaligem Kling-Klang-Studio \u2013 das 2015 als Elektro M\u00fcller als Arbeitsraum und Konzertvenue zur Verfugung stand \u2013 begonnen. Der zweite Teil der Aufnahmen entstand dann im Sommer 2020 in der Stammhauskirche in Dusseldorf, die mit ihrer Holzverkleidung im Inneren eine sehr organische Raumakustik ermoglicht.
