TONTRÄGERINNEN*

Der echoraum wird in diesem Frühjahr in Ermangelung der Möglichkeit, Konzerte zu realisieren, zur Klanggalerie !
Von April bis Juni werden zu bestimmten Öffnungszeiten Dokumentationen der Arbeiten sowie Klanginstallationen einiger der umtriebigsten Exponentinnen und Exponenten des aktuellen Musikgeschehens in Wien und Graz zu bestaunen sein.
Sobald es konkrete Öffnungszeiten gibt, werden sie hier veröffentlicht. Es können auch Termine nach Vereinbarung wahrgenommen werden: echo AT echoraum.at, max. 5 Personen gleichzeitig !

20 Inventionen is a cyclic piece consisting of twenty short piano pieces.
As an installation object, 20 Inventionen works in a space with twenty portable turntables. Each turntable represents one music station...
...and each station represents one piece – one invention – on one side of 7inch record. With average duration between 1,5 and 2,5 minutes, the pieces are specific for their punctuality, extended use of breaks and humorous nature.
...respective score is provided for each piece...
Entering the space, the visitor has the freedom to shift from station to station and play the turntables in any order.
Playing multiple records simultaneously with additional visitors is possible.
The installation offers space and time for complete dedication to particular piece of music...
